Rescued “Cockfighting” Roosters in New Jersey Need Homes
Please contact Melissa Neiss by email if you can help. Here is her message:

“My staff helped another municipality with a cockfighting bust the other day. We now have 13 roosters in carriers in our shelter basement. We are a city shelter so that's the best we can do. It's totally better than where they came from! I'm wondering if you can put an alert out for me.”

Melissa’s shelter is the Montclair Township Animal Shelter, Montclair, NJ 07042. People should email her at mtas77@verizon.net.

Note : Please do Not reply to United Poultry Concerns. If you can help with the adoption of any of these roosters, contact Melissa Neiss directly at mtas77@verizon.net.

Thank you!
