UPC Alert: Thank Wild Oats for Adopting a Cage-Free Policy for Hens

Wild Oats, the 3rd largest natural foods retailer in the U.S., is the first national retailer to commit exclusively to eggs from uncaged hens. Please take a minute to thank Wild Oats, who worked with The Humane Society of the United States to achieve this goal. Hens in battery cages suffer from severe crowding and misery. They can never take a step, spread their wings, enjoy a nest, sit on a perch, or dustbathe. Wild Oats hens will have a better life, and Wild Oats’ decision to carry only cage-free eggs should encourage other retailers to follow their example. You can thank Wild Oats online at:

Or write to: Mr. Perry Odak, Wild Oats Markets, Inc., 3375 Mitchell Lane, Boulder, CO 80301

Thank you for actively supporting better treatment for chickens.
