A report and undercover video by Mercy For Animals shows horrific abuse of chickens at the McGinnis Farm in Dagsboro, Delaware.
Video footage shows baby birds being bred to grow so quickly that they become crippled under their own weight, workers carelessly kicking,
clubbing, and throwing chickens, and thousands of severely sick and injured animals left to suffer without proper veterinary care or access
to food and water.
Other abuses include crates of chicks being tossed and thrown, leading to broken bones and other severe injuries along with cramming thousands of birds into filthy, windowless sheds where they struggle to breathe within their own waste and toxic fumes.
Please sign this petition to urge the Department of Agriculture to intervene and conduct an investigation into the animal abuse taking place at this facility, which is owned by Tyson Foods. If these birds are being abused as presented in the report and video footage, we want to ensure the conditions change immediately and the abusers are held accountable!
