Urge Cruelty Conviction on Behalf of Abandoned Chickens
Case to Go to Trial January 27, 2000: Your Letters are Needed!
The SPCA of Gloucester County, New Jersey has filed animal
cruelty charges against Paul Waters, Jr., the owner of a chicken
slaughtering plant called Meredith Farms, in Franklin Township,
NJ. When Waters closed Meredith Farms last August, he left 31
live young chickens without food or water. By the time the dying
birds were discovered, it was too late to save them.
Please write the prosecutor and the judge and urge that Paul
Waters, Jr. be convicted of cruelty to animals. Please do it now.
