Get Active for Animals: Tell TV Show Not to Harass Animals
The television show The People's Champions recently aired a segment in which contestants with leaf blowers chased frightened chickens across a finish line. Please send a polite letter to the producer to ask that the segment not be re-aired and that animals not be used for other stunts on the show. Enough is more than enough.
Urge The People's Champions Not to Harass Animals
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The television show The People's Champions recently aired a segment called "Cock Blow," for which chickens were treated cruelly. People on the show participate in stunts in order to prove that they are the "champion" of that stunt. "Cock Blow" featured people with leaf blowers chasing frightened chickens across a finish line.
Please send a polite letter to the producer to ask that the segment not be re-aired and that animals not be used for other stunts on the show. Be sure to note that you'll tune out until such a policy is in place.
