New Jersey Dept of Agriculture Requests Humane Standards Comments Due by August 6, 2004 The New Jersey Dept of Agriculture (NJDA) is developing standards for the treatment of farmed animals. Current standards are inhumane. In June 2003 UPC submitted a 50-page response to the NJDA's call for public comments.
