Contact CBS about Killing Chickens on “Kid Nation”
Children on the CBS children’s show “Kid Nation” slaughtered two chickens on Wednesday night September 26 where the shtick was a fight over how to get protein in a town supposedly without any. The episode featured children who wanted to save the chickens, whom they were caring for, from the children who wanted to kill them. The cruel children won and slaughtered the hens. This is children’s television.
In 2001, United Poultry Concerns, The Ark Trust and other groups condemned the CBS show “Survivor” for having contestants behead a rooster and stab a pig to death on the air. Leslie Moonves, head of CBS, is responsible for these sadistic episodes in which animals are killed for ratings. Please express your opinion to Mr. Moonves and request a response from him:
