My family and I respectfully request that you replace the demeaning emu advertisements.
I recently changed car insurance companies and went with a company that seemed better presented than your company with silly ads.
Unfortunately, the emu ads are less savory than merely “silly.” As animal lovers, we fail to see the humor in animals being made fun of in contrived, inappropriate anthropomorphic presentations.
In this century we are hopeful that humans -and responsible corporations- will strive for the humane treatment of animals and leave them in (and help to preserve) their natural habitat.
The ads are not “make-believe” or “all in good fun.” If it isn’t “good fun” for all the kids the ad educates to belittle animals- or for that one emu- then it isn’t “fun”.
Surely Liberty Mutual can be more humane in advertisings and even help raise the level of discourse on the subject. I would appreciate a reply at your convenience, particularly if you can pull the ad.
