HELLO CHICKEN FRIENDS!

It was so difficult to choose only 12 from the 193 entries - there were so many wonderful photos entered. They depict so clearly the love, joy and respect felt for chickens by those who know them best - those who share their lives and homes with them. All of the photos entered will remain on the contest site. Don't miss our Honorable Mention category too.

The number of photographs of birds who have been rescued continues to increase each year and that gives us hope. What an honor to read the inspiring stories of birds who found happiness and love and to know the people all over the world who helped them. More and more people are understanding what we've known all along - helping an individual chicken is within the reach of everyone. Once a person has had that one-on-one experience, it changes everything. People who want to help individual chickens can do so by adopting them as companions. We can help them all by adopting a plant based diet.
