United Poultry Concerns will be at several Animal Advocacy/Vegetarian Events in June & July, starting this weekend at the Cleveland VegFest on Saturday and the Anti-Fur Society Conference in Alexandria, VA Friday thru Sunday.

UPC President Karen Davis will speak about Chickens and Turkeys, the Feather Trade, the Screaming Hen Bill, the Vegan Revolution, and Effective Activism for Farmed Animals. UPC Vice President Liqin Cao will address the pros and cons of Backyard Chicken-Keeping and Why the Vegan Revolution is the Only Solution.

• Friday-Sunday, May 31-June 2: Anti-Fur Society Conference, Alexandria, VA
  UPC president Karen Davis will speak, UPC is a sponsor & will host an exhibit table.
• Saturday, June 1: Cleveland VegFest! Sponsored by the Cleveland Vegan Society
  UPC president Karen Davis will speak & UPC will host an exhibit table.
• Friday-Sunday, June 7-9: Left Forum, Pace University, NYC & Left Forum, Animal Liberation and Social Justice Panel, NYC
  UPC president Karen Davis will sit on a panel, and sign books. Saturday, June 8, Session 1 from 10 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. Room W606.
• Sunday, June 9: National Animal Rights Day, New York City
  UPC president Karen Davis will speak & UPC will host an exhibit table.
• Saturday, June 15: Richmond Vegetarian Festival, Richmond, VA
  UPC will host an exhibit table.
• Saturday, June 22: Symposium of Animal Liberation, Phoenix, AZ
  UPC will host an exhibit table, and UPC president Karen Davis will present "Staffing Tables & Leafleting for Animal Rights" and "Moving Beyond the Rhetoric of Apology & Speciesism in Animal Rights."
• Thursday June 27-Sunday June 30: Animal Rights National Conference, Alexandria, VA
  UPC will host an exhibit table & UPC Vice President Liqin Cao will speak on the Humane Hoax of Backyard Chicken-Keeping.
• Wednesday-Sunday, July 3-7: North American Vegetarian Society Summerfest, University of Pittsburgh.
  UPC president Karen Davis will speak & UPC will host an exhibit table.
