Saturday, September 26: Charlottesville Vegetarian Festival, Charlottesville, VA.
UPC will host an exhibit table and UPC President Karen Davis will speak at 1:00pm in the Library on the topic of “What
Wings are For.”

Saturday, October 3: DC VegFest, Washington, DC. UPC will host an exhibit table.

Saturday & Sunday, October 3 & 4: World VegFest, San Francisco, California.
UPC will host an exhibit table and UPC Projects Manager Hope Bohanec will speak on Sunday, October 4 at 11:45am in the Main
Auditorium
on the topic of “The Humane Hoax.”

Thursday, October 15: College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA, Tucker Theatre 7-9pm.
United Poultry Concerns President Karen Davis, PhD will describe the realities of factory poultry farming in Virginia today,
highlighting the environmental and ethical concerns that UPC sees. Karen Davis will be joined by the artist Sue Coe who will
discuss her work with similar concerns relating to art. Q & A with Karen, Sue, and audience members will conclude the event
which is free and open to the public.
