DC activists are invited to join us in a celebration of chickens and protest against their suffering and abuse in farming operations. Posters & Banners will be provided.

MAY 5 Noon-2 PM UPC activists will leaflet in the Takoma Park (Md) Town Square near the Roscoe the Rooster Memorial Statue at the corner of Carroll and Laurel Ave. on Saturday, May 5 from Noon to 2 PM. We’ll have Posters & Banners.

INTERNATIONAL RESPECT FOR CHICKENS DAY, May 4, is a day to celebrate chickens throughout the world by encouraging people to do an ACTION for chickens on or around May 4th. Ideas include leafleting on a busy street corner, an office party, library display, letter to the editor, talk show call-in, tabling at your school or shopping center, showing CHICKEN RUN, vegan open house – whatever you can do for chickens!

Please join us in front of the White House May 4 and in Takoma Park May 5 to celebrate International Respect for Chickens Day. We look forward to having you with us!
