“Suki and Suzanne are two of our four peahens whom we lured into our sanctuary last summer when it appeared they’d been abandoned to wander the back roads unattended, and thus be in danger of cars and hunters. Suki and Suzanne have a special bond. They love being close to each other, often staring intently into each other’s eyes. Like chickens and turkeys, peafowl have powerful eyesight.
